1. Who we are
IASC Connect is operated by the Instrumentation, Automation, Surveillance & Communication Sector Skill Council, an organisation constituted under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India, with its registered office at B-12, Sector 1, Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201301.
2. What we collect
We collect the information you provide when you create a profile: name, contact details, member type, qualifications, assessed skills, sector, location and employment history. We also record assessment outcomes submitted by IASC-affiliated training partners, and standard technical data such as device type and pages visited.
3. Why we collect it
Your data is used to match you with jobs, projects, partnerships, apprenticeships and courses; to issue and verify IASC credentials; to notify you of relevant opportunities on the portal, by email and on WhatsApp where you have opted in; and to produce aggregate labour market intelligence for the sector.
4. Who can see your profile
Verified employers and training partners can see your profile, assessed skill levels and verification status. They cannot see your contact details until you respond to an opportunity or accept a connection. You can set your profile to private at any time from your account settings.
5. Aggregate reporting
Labour market intelligence published in the LMIS dashboard and in IASC reports is always aggregated and de-identified. No individual member is identifiable in any published figure.
6. Data retention
Profile data is retained while your account is active and for three years afterwards, so that credentials remain verifiable for employers. Assessment records are retained for seven years in line with NSQF record-keeping requirements.
7. Your rights
You may access, correct, export or delete your data, and withdraw consent for WhatsApp and email notifications, by writing to the data office below. We respond to requests within thirty days.
8. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in, and optional analytics cookies to understand which parts of the network are used. Analytics cookies are set only with your consent, which you can change at any time from the cookie banner.
